notification from December 11, 2012.
BLACKROCK (Luxembourg) S.A., Senningerberg, Luxembourg has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting
Rights on LANXESS Aktiengesellschaft, Leverkusen, Germany, have exceeded
the 3% threshold of the Voting Rights on December 05, 2012 and on that day
amounted to 3.09% (this corresponds to 2569048 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 3.09% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 2569048 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
